New approximation of the normal distribution function |

| Abstract: | Two new and simple expressions, one for 0 ≤ x ≤ 2 and another for x > 2, for the normal distribution function, are developed which can be easily computed on desk calculators. They are also comparable in accuracy to the one developed by Patry and Keller (1964). |
