| Abstract: | The paper makes a tentative endeavor to describe the context concept and to analyze the restriction of context on the meaning of translated version from the contextual perspective of co-text,culture and situation respectively.Based on the analysis,the paper concludes that the translation process is the one of re-constructing the information of source discourse with the discourse context.Therefore,the correct understanding of the context is the premise of translation. |
