| 摘 要： | 目的论自文艺复兴以来遭受了机械论的挑战，传统目的论的合法性不断受到质疑并逐渐被边缘化。溯源西方目的论的历史嬗变，分析目的论在西方产生、发展的内在机理，探讨西方目的论与人类生存的相互关联，可以看出目的论在当代哲学的复兴是一种历史和理性的必然。
