Nietzsche advocated "the affirmation of life",which refers to the affirmation and protection of the complete and energetic and individualized creation of life.This was a kind of contention and confrontation to the Platonist morality,and its purpose was to guide people to exert their potential to the highest degree so as to realize different transformations and transcendences of the forms of life.It contains the following three aspects:to affirm the happy and painful life containing tribulation;to affirm the physical life containing unconscious enginery;to affirm the life procession containing the past.By advocating this,Nietzsche succeeded in making a breakthrough in the sensibility-transcending moral ideals of Platonism,effectively caused the continuous and ardent attention to human existence and life by Western humanism in the post-Nietzsche ages.The essential limitedness of the advocation lies in that it brings blindness to the productiveness of humans,trapped in the superficial,uncertain and irrational mistakes in value choice.
