中国现代新诗理论批评的历史经验

中国现代新诗理论批评从诞生起 ,自始至终存在着两对最基本的矛盾 :一是西方现代诗学与中国传统诗学的矛盾 ,二是坚持启蒙救亡与坚持诗歌本体的矛盾。针对第一对矛盾 ,袁可嘉、唐等“九叶”派诗论家继承“五四”以来周作人、梁宗岱、朱自清、穆木天、闻一多、朱光潜等前辈新诗理论批评家融汇中西诗学的理论成果 ,创造了具有中国特色的现代诗学 ;针对第二矛盾 ,胡适、象征派、现代派、七月诗派等诗论家进行了深入的探讨与研究 ,在此基础上 ,九叶诗派提出了“在现实和艺术之间求得平衡”的主张。中国现代新诗理论批评正是在不断地寻求妥善解决这两对基本矛盾的实践过程中 ,逐步萌芽、滋长、发展、丰富、深化的

A Review of New Poetic Criticism in Modern China

Since its emergence, China's new poetic criticism had contained two fundamental contradictions: one between modern Western poetics and traditional Chinese poetics, and the other between enlightenment for national salvation and poetry itself. To resolve these two contradictions, such Jiuye school poetry critics as Yuan Kejia and Tang Shi inherited theoretical achievements in poetics made by the forerunners, and originated modern poetics with Chinese characteristics. Hu Shi, together with the symbolist school, the modernist school and the July school poetry critics made deeper explorations, and the Jiuye school expounded its view of keeping a balance between reality and art. In the process of resolving both contradictions, China's new poetic criticism has been well matured.
