社会资本与经济发展:理论脉络与争辩

社会资本是1990年代以后形成的为许多学科关注的热门概念和分析范式,但是从理论渊源和发展脉络上看,对社会资本与经济发展关系的研究可以追溯到马克斯·韦伯关于宗教社会经济功能的分析。社会资本理论兴起后,这方面的研究以弗朗西斯·福山关于信任与经济发展关系的研究为代表。虽然到目前为止社会资本理论也受到许多批评,还存在一些不同看法,但是社会资本理论已经成为分析经济发展问题的一个新的研究范式。

Social Capital and Economic Development: Theoretical Evolution and Debates

Social capital has become a hot concept and analyzing pattern in many disciplines since 1990. However, from the perspective of theoretical origin and evolution, the study on the relation between social capital and economic development can date from Max Weber's analysis on the social and economic functions of religion. Since the theory of social capital sprang up, Francis Fukuyama, whose study focuses on the relation between trust and economic development, has become a representative in the field. Although so far the theory of social capital has been much criticized, and some different opinions about it still exist, the theory has become a new pattern of analyzing economic development.
