Preliminary Study in Earthworm Culture Medium Prepared Using Kitchen Waste

The paper analyzes the basal component of kitchen waste,it can be seen that:16.83% is crude protein,29.94% is Crude Fat,7.04% is Crude Fiber.Content of crude fat decreases to 7.4% and salt decreases to 0.6% after test with sorting,water-washing,desalination,and degreasing.Then the dry powders as the main component of culture medium for feeding were obtained under certain conditions.At the same time,the Eisenia foetide that are suitable to live in the kitchen waste as the experimental earthworm were selected.The result found that the culture medium has good effect.
