摘    要:网络的迅速发展和广泛应用给教育带来了新的机遇和挑战.由于建构主义所要求的学习环境得到了当代最新信息技术成果的强有力支持,才使真正创设建构主义学习环境与大学英语教学相整合成为可能,网络环境下的大学英语教学活动,对传统教学模式以及传统教学模式下的教师角色造成了巨大的冲击和挑战,为教师角色的全新定位提出了新的要求.只有教师角色定位准确,大学英语教学改革才能卓有成效地得以实施.

Abstract:The development of internet and its application have given rise to new opportunities and challenges in college English teaching.With the latest results in information technology as a solid foundation for the learning setting required by the structuralism,it is possible that the learning setting under structuralism be incorporated into college English teaching.College English teaching by means of internet constitute a great challenge against the traditional teaching methods and the role teachers play in the traditional teaching methods.Therefore,teachers' role must be redefined so that the reform in college English teaching could be carried out with success.
