程瑶田学术价值的当代解读

学界（包括汉语界和外语界）对清代著名学者程瑶田的研究显得较为沉寂，这与闪烁在他头上的诸多光环很不相称。文章尝试述介程瑶田的学术成果（主要是《果裸转语记》），解读他的作品在当今语言研究中的价值，特别是他所论述的转语之理据，为认知语言学和体认语言学所论证的“像似性”提供了中国式的佐证。文章还藉此重申:外语界不可仅将目光放在外国学者及其论著上，也需认真研读我国先辈留给我们的宝贵精神财富，以进一步繁荣“洋为中用，古为今用”的科研景象。

The Present-day Interpretation of Cheng Yaotian's Academic Value

The academic circle (including Chinese and Foreign-languages') looks a bit inactive to Cheng Yaotian, a famous Qing-Dynasty scholar, which is inconsistent with many halos upon his head. The author attempts to introduce his academic achievements (The Derivation of Guo Luo as a main example), and to interpret the significance of his works to the present-day linguistic research, especially his explanation on the motivation of derivation, which provides a solid Chinese-style proof for iconicity proposed by Cognitive Linguistics and Embodied-cognitive Linguistics. The author would also like to take this opportunity to re-stress that the scholars in Foreign-languages' circle could not only stare at the foreigners and their works, but also study seriously the spiritual property left to us by our predecessors, so as to promote a more prosperous scenery of "making foreign things serve China, and ancient things the present".
