试论《太平经》及《老子想尔注》有关持戒在得道过程之作用的思想渊源

奉行戒律,其功能真的仅止于防非止恶的消极性工夫吗?道教自东汉晚期首由张道陵秉诸老庄之道论而加以发挥阐扬,其主张通过修行即可得道成仙而使人信服其宗教神学教义,此似与老庄任自然与无为之道论功夫有悖.本文通过分析汉代<太平经>及<老子想尔注>二道经有关持戒在得道过程中之作用,肯定了道家妄作凶及顺道思想实践之渊源底蕴,从持戒的无为与不妄动之功夫中亦透显出老庄道论的清静、无为思想.持戒不仅防非止恶,更能通过自律自觉而得道,亦即能积极的使持戒者达到与道合一的境界.本文自论述研究动机与方法后,首论道戒之意涵与形成,次述道家思想概要,三论道戒与道家思想之关系,其四为研究限制与后续研究,最后则为本文结论.

A Tentative Analysis of the Ideological Origin about the Role of Discipline in Achieving Excellence Practice in Tai Ping Jing and Lao Zi Xiang Er Zhu

Based on an analysis of the function of discipline in achieving excellent practice in two Taoist works,i.e., Tai Ping Jing and Lao Zi Xiang Er Zhu (Annotations of Lao Zi),this paper points out that the actionless action and non - rush action in discipline highlights the quietness and inaction advocated by Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi.Observation of commandment helps to prevent evilness and enables the practitioner to achieve excellent practice self- consciously. This is the first paper discussing the meaning and formation of Taoist commandment,which provides a summary of the Taoist thoughts,and expounds the relationship between Taoist commandment and Taoist thought.
