On the Teaching Method of English Preposition

English preposition could not be used alone and it must be combined with noun to form a preposition phase, and then the preposition phase can be used as a part of a sentence. The use of preposition in English is much more than that in Chinese. The correct usage of preposition will make a sentence simpler in structure, clearer in meaning, and also make the sentence accord with the linguistic customs. In English, a lot of verbs in Chinese can be expressed by English preposition. When putting some Chinese into English, we could not do it word by word. As prepositions are widely used in English, we should pay more attention to the differences of different prepositions and the differences of other parts of speech.
