“疾病”类英语高频词的学习策略

摘    要:近年来,高校英语教材中采用的卫生健康方面的文章呈上升趋势,其中涉及的“疾病”名词多而且杂。如何将某些出现频率较高的名词进行分类,方便学生掌握,一直是教师关注的焦点。从炎症疾病、传染病、癌症、老年病和其他常见疾病等五个方面,对与“疾病”相关的英语高频词进行归类,并制定相应的学习策略,有助于学生克服畏难情绪,逐步认识、熟悉、掌握这些词汇。

Abstract:Recently the texts about diseases and hygiene adopted in college English textbooks have been increasing, in which the names of diseases concerned diversify. How to classify these high-frequency nouns becomes the focus of the teachers. This English learning into five areas, paper attempts to categorize the common high-frequency words about diseases in that is, inflammation diseases, infectious diseases, cancers, senile and other cornmon diseases. And some constructive proposals are put forward in order to help the students tide over frustration and master those words by means of knowing and familiarizing.
