也谈朝鲜战争与台湾问题

持续三年多的朝鲜战争不仅加深了朝鲜半岛的分裂,也使中国台湾问题遗留下来,成为当今中国实现国家统一以及中美关系发展的关键问题。尽管朝鲜战争的爆发打乱了新中国解放台湾的日程,但不能简单地认为朝鲜战争的爆发使新中国失去了解放台湾的最佳时机。在朝鲜战争爆发前,中国面对的国内外形势都使武力解决台湾问题十分艰难。然而就在中国人民志愿军参加抗美援朝战争期间,出现了谈判解决台湾问题的有利时机,但因中国政府对敌我力量的错误估计以及对北朝鲜领导人意见的顾虑,这次机会没能把握住。朝鲜战争结束后,美国对台政策成为台海局势发展的重要因素,由此而引发中美危机的可能性是存在的。

My View on the Korean War and the Taiwan Question

The three-year-long Korean War not only deepened the split of the Korean peninsular,but also created the question of Taiwan for China,which has now become a crucial question in the reunification of China and the development of Sino-US relationship.The breakout of the Korean War upset the agenda of New China's plan to attack Taiwan,but it is by no means totally right to just take it for granted that the breakout of the Korean War made New China lose the best opportunity to liberate Taiwan,for,before the Korean War broke out,the situations New China was faced with at home and abroad both made it extremely hard for the new government to settle the question of Taiwan by armed forces.However,just before the Chinese volunteers were about to join the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea,there emerged a favorable opportunity to settle Taiwan question.Yet,as a result of the wrong estimation of the enemy forces by the government combined with the influences of the North Korea's leaders,we failed to seize the opportunity.After the Korean War,the USA's Taiwan policy has become the vital factor to influence the development of the situations between the straits,and there does exist the possibility of a crisis between China and the United Stated as a result of this.
