雷州半岛历史悠久，但其旅游文化内涵还没有发掘出来。对雷州半岛旅游文化的研究，要挖掘旅游文化资源的史学价值，研究其历史遗存的文化特色。通过对民俗活动的历史进行全面的考察分析．来提炼某种文化精神，从而形成品牌，产生效应。

The Leizhou Peninsula has a long history of cultural meaning and value are not fully elucidated. It has upgrade. The historical and cultural research is the basis tourism resources. But so far its historical and even failed to form a brand,impede competitive for development of tourism culture. However, probing into the history and culture of tourism resources is a complex system work. First, we should probe into the development in various periods , historical facts and value of old tourism resources in a historical perspective. Second, we should pay attention to the existing conditions and artistic features of historical relics, to respect history and maintain the essential characteristics of traditional culture. Finally, by stud- ying the history of folk activities, we should extract the spirit of a culture. So,our study would reach a cer- tain depth and breadth to form a brand effect.
