| 摘 要： | 就影响边疆地区的发展因素而言,交通运输的通畅和流量是其关键因素之一。由于滇越铁路的兴建和贯通,中外人员和物资交流便捷,红河流域的经济文化兴盛一时,沿线崛起了许多城镇和新兴工商业中心,蒙自、个旧等地区逐渐发展成为影响滇南地区乃至云南的重要城镇。滇越铁路带来了货贸和通行的便利,极大地改变了红河流域地处僻远的边疆区域的物质和精神生活,铁路给沿线人们的社会观念、生产管理模式乃至行业变化和城镇兴衰等带来了巨大改变。滇越铁路使得红河流域由原先的闭塞落后地区一跃成为云南和西南地区实行现代化和开放的前沿,同时又使得红河流域面临滇越铁路社会变迁之挑战。
