| Abstract: | The Baishou activity, prevailing in Wu Ling mountain area on the border of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou is one of the most important customs which has been handed down from generation to generation by the Tu Jia people and their ancestors. It has significant folklore value in these aspects: ancestor worship and harvest pray. The Tu Jia"Tiao Nian"was full of pastoral scenes. |
