Actively Develop the Education of Engineering Course and Expand the Developmental Space for Non-governmental institutions of Higher Learning

The paper reviews the development of the structure of subjects of the non-governmental institutions of higher learning in China and analyses its characteristics and the causes of its formation. In line with the present situation, it expounds the significance of developing the education of science and engineering, especially that of engineering, in non-governmental institutions of higher learning, presenting the background, problems and challenges in transforming the structure of subjects in non-governmental institutions of higher learning and putting forth proposals and measures in regard to the development of the education of science and engineering and to the expansion of school-running space.
