| 摘 要： | 象征历来是作家们钟爱的写作手法。凯瑟琳.曼斯菲尔德在其短篇小说中也大量地使用了象征,并且在象征中除传统意义之外还赋予了自己特殊的主观感情和意义,从而形成了传统象征和现代象征的有机交融。她的象征中意象象征具有特殊的意义。在她的小说中有一个特殊的意象群,形成了特殊的意象模式,这些意象以缩影的形式展示了小说的寓意,揭示了小说的主题,传达了作者的思想和情感状态。

| Abstract: | Symbolism is always a writing technique loved by writers.In her short stories Katherine Mansfield also uses many symbols.And at the same time she endows with her own particular feelings and significance in the symbols,thus forming the harmonious blending of traditional symbols and modern symbols.In her stories,the symbols of images have special significance,forming a special model of imagery with a special group of images.These images reveal the themes of the stories and deliver the feelings and ideas of the writer in the form of a miniature. |
