文理科大学生英语学习策略个案研究

通过使用社会科学统计软件对问卷调查和大学英语四级成绩之间的分析,研究文理科大学生在英语学习过程中学习策略的特点以及策略与学习成绩之间的关系。文科学生更偏爱管理策略,他们的学习自主性较强;而理科学生则更多的依赖母语策略来解决外语学习中的问题。文理科学生成绩差异较大。在大学英语教学过程中教师应重视管理学习策略的培养,鼓励学习者自主,不提倡过多使用母语策略。

A Study on Non-English Major College Students' English Learning Strategies

The paper reports a survey study on the relationship between learning strategies and scores on College English Test-Band 4 of non-English major students through SPSS 10.0 analysis.The result shows that arts students prefer to use management strategy in English language learning while science students depend more on L1 strategy to solve the problems in language learning.The test scores of arts students are higher than that of the science students.College English language teachers should emphasize more on the training of learning strategies and encourage learner autonomy rather than L1 learning strategy.
