| 摘 要： | 趣味是双关语的精神。双关语的功用在于使文章生动形象、活泼有趣。翻译中对双关语的处理应注意突出其两层含义中的深层含义，以双关译双关是理想目标，前后对照法译双关可作为常用处理方法，对照包括形式上的呈现和语义上的契合。但也可降低难度系数，采用其他方式。首次提出“对照法译双关”的方法。

| Abstract: | Wit is the essence of puns. The function of puns is to ensure lively and vivid writings. In translation of puns, due attention should be given to the deep-intended meaning. An ideal pun translation is one maintaining the formal property of puns. Correspondence in language, both formally and semantically, might be considered one of the usual ways to address the issue of pun translation while other ways of treatment might also be employed to facilitate the tough job. The conception of “corre-spondence” is proposed for the first time in the related field. |
