| Abstract: | By analyzing the British confidential documents, the article shows the activities of Lu Xingqi (China's magistrate in Tibet) and other Indian Chinese, the background, important figures, their conflicts and diplomatic negotiations, and important roles they played in protecting China's sovereignty over Tibet from the end of Qing Dynasty to 1930s. |
