农村留守老人问题探析——基于豫东农村的调查

随着农村家庭结构由“核心化”向“空心化”的转变，留守老人问题日益严峻。基于豫东农村调查得知，留守老人面临经济来源拮据、健康状况不良、心理孤独寂寞、安全隐患多等诸多问题。这些问题如不妥善解决必将影响新农村建设。为此，应大力发展县域经济，建立和完善农村养老保障体系，扩大“新农合”范围，加强农村医疗设施的软、硬件建设，成立各类留守老人团体或协会，转变养老观念，加强农村养老院建设与管理，满足留守老人的物质与精神需求。

Problems of empty nesters in countryside: Based on the investigation of eastern Henan

The problem of empty nesters in countryside is getting serious with the family structure shift from nuclear family to empty-nest family. The investigation of eastern Henan shows that the empty nesters in countryside face many difficulties such as lack of money, bad health condition, loneliness and security hidden danger, which will affects the construction of new countryside. Hence, we should take some measures： 1）forcefully developing county economy;2） establishing and improving the elderly support system; 3）extending the scope of new-type rural cooperative medical system, and strengthening the construction of medical facilities in the countryside;4）setting up various organizations or groups as well as changing old age support conception; 5）strengthening the construction and management of homes for the elderly so as to meet the need of empty nesters.
