| 摘 要： | 构建社会主义和谐社会需要积极推进服务型政府建设。内容上看．服务型政府是和谐社会的重要环节；功能上看。服务型政府是和谐社会的重要动力。当前．服务型政府建设的内容包括：职能转变是服务型政府建设的核心，社会管理是服务型政府建设的主题．分清级别是服务型政府建设的途径，界定职能是服务型政府建设的方法。从我国实际出发．构建社会主义和谐社会．推进服务型政府建设，需要坚持“以人为本”．把握服务型政府建设的方向；加强政府机构改革，把握服务型政府建设的关键；积极推进法治建设，把握服务型政府建设的基础。
