An analysis of problems in translating Japanese into Chinese

This article maintains that the Japanese original and the Chinese translation both have "spirit",just like calligaphic works,and once you understand the relationship of modification wholly,you will grasp the "spirit" of the Japanese original;once words and phrases expressed in Chinese flow smoothy and convey the intended meaning completely,then you has grasped the "spirit" of the Chinese translation.Understanding the "spirit" fully and deeply does not only depend on ones comprehensive ability of Japanese but also relies on that of Chinese.The use of the function words and adverbs in translating can make the translation more precise and more accurate.
