| 摘 要： | 《呼啸山庄》中的地名和人名含义深刻 ,是作者意图的表达。本文通过对这部小说中的地名和人名的意蕴分析 ,表明了希刺克厉夫复仇的失败是作者蓄意的构建 ;同时 ,小说的主题——作者艾米莉对人类社会不公正问题的终极关怀——也得到自然的传达。

| Abstract: | The names of characters and places in Wuthering Heights are abundant in implied meanings, voicing the intentions of the author. Through analyzing the implied meanings of the characters and place names in this novel, this essay illustrates that the author purposefully failed Heathcliff's revenge. Meanwhile, the theme of this novel-Emily's ultimate concern for the social inequallity-is naturally exposed to the reader. |
