An Explanation to W.V.Quine's Indeterminacy

The Indeterminacy of Translation proposed by W. V. Quine is an epistemology proposition related to language philosophy, including two aspects： One, the indeterminacy of connotation or meaning; the other, the indeterminacy of extension or reference. Two direct reasons and some covert reasons of Two reasons of the indeterminacy of translation which linguists have not been able to realize as well as its connection with translatability and fuzziness have been discussed. It has obtained some beneficial enlightenment to the present circle of translation, i.e. translation is diverse and ambiguous; the process of translation is uncertain; translation theories and strategies are variable; through W. V. Quine＇s Indeterminacy of Translation, we may deal with the uncertainties and contradictions in translation more accurately and re-examine the translations of different styles and levels.
