On the Reform and Development of Adult Education in 21st Century

Based on the 50 year development of China's adult education, especially the latest 20 year achievement of adult higher education, to satisfy the objective demand of economic and social development in 21 st century, "consolidation, reform and development" are regarded as not only the inevitable choice and the significant issue faced us in the new century's adult higher education, but also the only road to take in order to keep pace with the new century and the new situation. Consolidation is for the sake of development, so is reform; the way out lies in development.
