| Abstract: | Fan Ye, who lived in South Song Dynasty, compiled XiNanYi in History of Eastern Han, which was based on anterior people' s research. He gathered data extensively. The style is strict and the content was abundant. This book is not only the important data of studying the ethnic group' s historical culture of Southwest China, Eastern Han' s national and foreign connection, but also reflects Fan Ye's progressive national historical viewpoints and it had important philology values. |
