互文性与翻译教学

摘    要:互文性是整体性的大语境。互文本不仅指文学文本或文字文本,还可以是前人或后人的文学作品或传统,还泛指社会历史文本。互文性理论给翻译教学带来了许多启示:翻译教学应注重提高学生的母语和外语水平,扩展学生知识面,培养学生对两种语言互文本的表义匹配与协调的意识,培养学生对本民族文化的熟稔性,让学生重视两种语言转换中语篇形式互文本的相互适应,培养语境意识,翻译教材要提供足够的互文本,提倡并且培养译者的能动性。

Abstract:Intertexuality is context in a broad sense. An inter-text does not only refer to a literary or a written text; it may also refer to literary works or tradition passed down from the previous generations and the forthcoming literary works. In a broad sense even society and history may be considered an inter-text. The theory of intertexuality brings forward revelations to translation teaching. In translation teaching due attention should be paid to improving students’ mastery of not only the foreign language but also the native language and native culture. It is important to enhance students’ awareness of the compatibility between the inter-texts of different languages and that in discourse structure. Translation textbooks should supply adequate inter-texts. Student translators’ initiative should be encouraged.
