也论墨学中衰的原因

先秦百家争鸣时期,墨学一度同儒学并驾齐驱、分庭抗礼,并称＂显学＂。秦汉以后,墨学作为思想体系和学说逐渐消失、淹没,其终结的原因成为墨学研究者关注的一个焦点。文章遵循余英时先生内在的理路研究方法,从墨家思想内部来寻求终结的原因,认为墨学骤衰主要在于缺乏超越突破与问题意识。

On the Causes of the Decline of Mohist School＇s Doctrine

In the period of contention of a hundred schools of thought,Confucianism stood up to Mohist School’s doctrine as an equal and called Prominent Subject.But after the Qin and Han Dynasties,Mohist School’s doctrine as ideology and theory gradually disappeared and submerged.The major cause of its decline becomes a focus of attention to the researchers on Mohist School’s doctrine.This article tries to apply Mr.Yu Yingshi’s inner logical research methods to seek the major cause from the Mohist internal thought and concludes that the sudden decline of Mohist School’s doctrine mainly due to lacking of surmounting breakthrough and the consciousness of problems.
