| Abstract: | The paper investigates the inter-textual vocabulary growth of words in Shakespearean plays based on the one million words of Shakespearean Play Corpus(hereafter referred to as SPC) by the quantitative method.It mainly includes the vocabulary growth pattern of the words of Shakespearean plays and that of the hapax legomena. |
