德谟克利特伦理思想述评

Democritus, who was a great materialism philosopher in ancient Greek, had plentiful systemic thought which concerned with social philosophy,of which ethic is one of the important content. In his opinion, the main reasons that caused social confusion and civil war were the generality of people's insatiably greedy, had no correct happiness conception, and didn't know to control lust. With this cognition he attacked the rich people(personage of bad human nature), stated his views about the happiness conception and the meaning of control lust, and he brought forward a completely integrated law which about the ethic, he wanted using it to bring up good citizen, good youth, good rich people, good official, good woman, good father and good old man who was respected by. He emphasized the educations' great effect for mold the citizen's sublime spirit character and also discussed the way of education deeply.
