| 摘 要： | 本文通过对薇拉·凯瑟的代表作品之一《啊!拓荒者》中几个主要人物形象的分析,揭示了作者通过这些形象所寄寓的对土地的眷恋、对劳动的热爱和对幸福的坚定追求,指出正是由于她对这些美德的推崇使她博得了“物质文明过程中精神美的捍卫者”的称号。 |

Pioneers - the representative literature of Willa Cather, this article reveals the author's love to land, passion to labor and aspiration after eudemonia expresses by these characters and indicates why she earned the title "champion of spirit merits in material civilization" was because of her respect for those merits . |
