On the basic problem of philosophy

The basic problem of philosophy is a problem which makes philosophy possible, not one which any philosopher has to answer or inquiry directly. This problem makes the history of Philosophy coherent and the essential pahs of philosophy united. Whether there is a basic problem in philosophy and what it is hinge on what the philosophy is and how we philosophize. As a basic problem, it works in philosophizing and cannot be transcended.
