The Concept of Quantities in Wang Chong's Theory of Atheism

Wang Chong is an outstanding ideologist of atheism in the East Han dynasty. He established his theoretical system of atheism by criticising all kinds of theological parlance then. When criticizing the theologies, he paid great attention to inspecting the differences among the same properties of different objects about their size, amount, weight, the scope of their reciprocities and the changes of their distance and so on. He used such a method to disclose the absurdness of theologies then and formed a special way of thinking for him and made it became an important support for him to establish his atheism theories. The formation of such a way of thinking of him was determined by times he lived and the learned directions he chose.
