| 摘 要： | 古书中"堕"和"坠"当"落、落下"讲是同义词,二者都有使动用法,但"堕"的使动用法比"坠"普遍,这对"堕胎"与"坠胎"的出现以及二者使用上的普遍与否产生了深远的影响."堕胎"开始出现于魏晋文献,"坠胎"较为可靠的起源当在明朝,且使用的频率远不及"堕胎"普遍.<现代汉语词典>不收"坠胎",当是出于规范化的要求.今天,尤其是网络上普遍使用"坠胎",从历史渊源上看并没有错,然而从规范化的角度看,这是不合规范的.我们应该自觉地为祖国语言文字的纯洁与健康而奋斗.
