An Exploration on Teaching Integrated English Skills in College English Teaching

This paper has attempted to explore different ways to teach integrated English skills. It starts from defining integrated skills, demonstrating significance of integrated teaching, exemplifying different approaches and problems o f teaching. Tentative suggestions are made on adopting teaching materials, ways of presenting new language and handling communicative activities to foster integrated skills in classroom language teaching. All these efforts are worthy of further experimentation and verification.
