| Abstract: | Causes of the poor listening comprehension of non-English majors are various. To improve their listening and distinguishing ability,the students have to master some basic rules in phonology. They can analyse the sentence structure and semantic domain,which helps to make the new words easier to be understood. Besides, they have to be familiar with different contexts and topics and get rid of their psychological barriers. |
