On the Development of Professional Ability of English Student-teachers by Needs Analysis

With the implementation of New English Curriculum, English teachers of basic education are in the face of higher demands. Under such circumstance, it is becoming more and more urgent and important for us to reform the education of normal colleges. Beginning with the importance of needs analysis in improving the efficiency of education, the paper analyzes English student-teachers' needs of curriculum learning, their future professional needs and social needs.
