| 摘 要： | 汉语和英语的意合与形合差异是语言学界和翻译界的老话题。关于其与思维方式的联系,虽然在众多的文献中也有涉及,但并未单独将之作为一个专题进行探讨。从汉语和英语所依赖和体现的思维方式角度入手,探求汉语和英语意合与形合之差异的原因,旨在为意合、形合之理论研究开拓一片新的视野。

| Abstract: | Parataxis of Chinese and hypotaxis of English have been an old topic in language and translation study.In spite of a great deal of literature concerning the impact of one culture＇s way of thinking on the other,no special essay is devoted to it.This paper,with a view to broadening the dimension of the research in this field,probes the root causes of the differences between the two languages in parataxis and hypotaxis in terms of the way of thinking that each culture depends on. |
