| 摘 要： | 在中国近代历史上 ,吴大因甲午援辽惨遭败绩而长期遭受非议。然而 ,全面考察其 2 0余年的为政生涯 ,可以看出 ,吴大并非一无是处 ,其所作所为有很多值得肯定的地方 ,尤其是在治理黄河方面成绩卓著 ,可以称得上是一个敢于直言、体恤民生、勤政廉洁、具有强烈爱国精神的封建官吏

| Abstract: | In modern Chinese history,Wu Dacheng has been blamed for his failure in assisting Liaoning during the 1894 War.However,by surveying his 20 years' official,we can see that he can not be blamed for all he did.There is much in what he did that is positive,especially his achievements in harnessing the Yellow River.He can be considered as a feudal official who was frank,hard-working,honest and patriotic. |
