Administration has carried out a series of unilateralit international policies to consolidate its hegemonic position, war remains to be the major way for the U. S. A. to pursue hegemony. War is not only helpful to Bush Administration in solving its internal political and economic contradictions but also effective in demonstrating its hegemonic position to contain and challenge the emergence of its opponents; war also offers the U. S. A. favourable opportunities for building even more stronger war machines.
