| Abstract: | Professor Liu Shicong advocates "aesthetic flavor" as a criterion of Chinese-English translation, and has made great achievements by adopting unique translation techiques and methods.Ten key translation techniques have been summarized that include transplantation,reparagraphing,different translations of the same word,paregmenon,generalization before particularization,parenthesis,formal breaking off to highlight coherence,graphic deviation,correlation,run-on use of conjunctions. |
