| 摘 要： | 针对1937年南京保卫战中南京卫戍司令唐生智的历史评价，史学界一直存在着争论，有些学者至今对唐还持有否定态度。分析唐生智在南京保卫战之前、期间与末期的言行以及当时日军及西方媒体对此役的评论等种种材料，思考保卫战失利的原因，力求公允地评价唐在此役中的功与过，为历史人物的清白正名。 |

| Abstract: | In the historical circles, there are arguments existing on how to make comments on TANG Sheng-zhi as the commander in Nanjing Defense Campaign in 1937. So far, some scholars still have negative attitudes of Tang. Through the study on Tang＇s words and actions among the campaign, as well as the reviews on the war by the Japanese side and Western media, the paper makes objective analysis of the causes of the defeat so as to pursue fair comments on the contribution and faults of Tang, aiming at justifying the real historical figure. |
