| Abstract: | Forty entries of dialectal research are collected in the work of Shiming, which is based on the subject of the common language in the Eastern Han Dynasty.The relevant literature displays certain features of dialect pronunciations in the regions of Qingxu,Jiyan and Jingyu as well as the features of dialectal words.The book is of great value to the history of dialectology,the history of lexicology and the history of etymology. |
