学部与晚清留学教育

1905年晚清学部的成立是中国近代教育史上的一件大事,它既是晚清新式教育发展的必然结果,又对新式教育的发展产生了深远的影响。学部成立后就积极调整规范了留学教育的发展。总体上,学部在留学的各个国家设立了游学管理的机构;并结合国内局势的变化和国外教育的机制及时地确定了留学教育的方向与目标。另外,针对前期留学教育发展中衍生的各种问题,拿出了具体而切实的解决办法,主要有:留学生资格的限定与保障、留学生学习学科结构的调整以及合理分布留学国别等等。在学部的大力整顿下,晚清最后几年的留学教育朝着更加有序和健康的轨道发展。

The Relationship between State Supreme Education Management and Overseas Education of Late Qing Dynasty of China
