20世纪西方现代小说文体叙述特征和叙述模式的嬗变

20世纪西方现代小说文体的叙述特征和叙述模式在资本主义发展、经济危机、战争和革命的文化语境中以及非理性主义思潮的影响下对西方传统小说叙事予以了全面、彻底的否定和变革，它转变了小说观念、审美价值取向，更新了叙述方式和方法，改革了小说的形态、作用方式和读者的接受方式，呈现出与传统小说迥异的“现代性”。本文着重探讨20世纪西方小说文体叙述特征的转变及其原因，以及在不同作家的创作中，现代主义小说文体根据不同的叙述特征形成的象征性、意绪性、客观物化等较典型的叙述模式。

The Evolution of the Narrative Characteristics and Mode of Western Modern Novel Style in 20th Century

Under the influences of capitalism development,economic crisis,war and irrationalism trend,the narrative characteristics and mode of 20th century western modern novel has given a comprehensive denial as well as transformation to western tradition novel narration.Meanwhile,by shifting the concept and aesthetic value orientation of the novel,renewing the narration method,reforming novel’s pattern,mode of action and readers’ receiving manner,it presents the fundamental dissimilarity "modernity" contrasting with traditional novel.This paper mainly focuses on the transformation and causes of the narrative characteristics and mode of western modern novel style in 20th century writers’ work.And in the meantime,according to the exploration of various narrative characteristics and mode,we found a typically mode with the characteristics of symbol,emotionality and objective materialization in modern novel style.
