情陷上海洋场的外乡人——评《海上花列传》

《海上花列传》叙述的主要是外乡人情迷洋场花界的故事。诱惑与吞噬，是外乡人与上海租界空间的关系的命意所在；寻找与滞留、拯救与陷入的故事延展，进一步表明上海对乡下人的捕获与掌控。上海租界的城市景观与消费娱乐空间，诱导、鼓励着外乡人享受繁华的欲望，使其沉沦，蜕变成远离乡村原则的“上海人”。与此同时，原来乡间培养起来的邻里亲属情谊，很快土崩瓦解。上海的妓院是爱情的冒险场，是危险的愉悦空间，这里的情感模式脱离了传统的伦理秩序。“供租用的女人”所提供的真假难辨的感情让晚清子弟感受到了恋爱的高峰体验。不过，上海花界的感情关系属于错位的爱情。
