| 摘 要： | 张书绅的《新说西游记》是清代《西游记》版本演变史上独具意义的一种版本。其文字主要来自于明代百回全本,又根据清代真诠本加进了唐僧身世故事。其评点文字认为《西游记》"原是证圣贤儒家之道",把《西游记》看成是儒家经典著作《大学》,不免牵强附会。但是其将《西游记》看作一部具有寓言意味的哲理性小说,并从社会学和人性的高度来看待《西游记》,有其合理的内涵;特别是比较全面地揭示了《西游记》"奇"的特点和"幻中有真"的高度艺术境界,对认识《西游记》的美学价值有着重要意义。
