摘    要:唯美主义是对英国维多利亚时期虚浮的社会现实的一种反驳,它与哲学、美学上的艺术非功利、艺术自主论有着联系,但它对艺术的超现实性的强调无疑应该归功于王尔德.而在他的实践中,在对"美"的享乐中,王尔德的艺术理想却最终还是堕落于消费主义的滚滚红尘中.正如詹姆斯所说,唯美主义者表面上的艺术追求以及华丽的风格最终成为一种世俗和高度抽象的符号代表,是一种"形式的意识形态",或"语词的商品".在宣扬唯美中遭遇消费的艺术家最终还是逃脱不了其尴尬的命运.

Abstract:Aestheticism, a social realistic reaction to the hypocrisy shown in the British Victorian age, has a close connection with the artistic non-utilitarianism both in philosophy and aestheticism. However, when we talk about the artistic consumption in aestheticism, we think it basically owns much to Oscar Wilde. However, we finally find his artistic Utopia falling down in Wilde's writing. As Jameson says, the artistic pursue and magnificent manner of the aesthetes will ultimately turn to be a kind of mundane and nonobjective symbol, to become a "form of ideology" or some "commodity of words". Those artists who advocate aestheticism cannot get out of their dilemma of consummation.
